Otto Link Reso Chamber 3* Hard Rubber Tenor Mouthpiece

I bought this mouthpiece on eBay on July 13, 2006, for 425$. This is the only mouthpiece that I sold which I later regretted that I did. It was really that good. Blowed easily top to bottom, tone and timber even in all registers. Table, chamber, rails, tip all excellent in original condition. There was a minor imperfection on the beak from the normal wear/playing, which was only of cosmetic importance. I bought this one together with several other mouthpieces and I was not in a position to keep them all. This one played beautifully, and since I was used to larger openings I was ready to ship it to have it opened up a bit, when I bought a Slant signature that I had fallen in love with. So, this one was passed to another lucky player. Warm, mellow, dark, haunting sound.

Now I regret that I sold it on August 5, 2006, for 400$ to a player in Thaiwan. Good luck!

Hello,
This is a beautiful Otto Link Reso Chamber 3* tenor sax mouthpiece. The piece was discovered in the case of a mint early 5 digit Selmer Mark VI. The horn and accessories reported have sat in a closet for over 40 years. The tip, rails, table, and chamber are in excellent condition. The top has normal wear but there are no teeth indentations. Please refer to pictures! There is no evidence that this piece was ever modified. The rubber seems to be the same beautiful rubber that makes the New York Meyers and Otto Link Slant sigs so special! The barrel is marked with New York at the base and there is a serial number also with appears to read "A64". This mouthpiece plays well! It is in tune and has a beautiful, dark, old school sound. It is a perfect candidate to be opened up for a brighter sound by your favorite mouthpiece specialist!
