Phil Barone New York 7* Metal Tenor Mouthpiece

I bought this mouthpiece from Phil in March 2007. Paid for it 410$. I played Otto Link Tone Master at the time and I wanted to try this one since it was supposedly modeled after Tone Masters. Phil really did a great job making this model. It is easy blowing, easy to control, you can get used to it in a few minutes. It had great intonation top to bottom. You can check its description on Phil's site or you can give him a call. He really is a great guy to talk to. However, after playing it four couple of hours on a few occasions, I still preferred the sound of my Tone Master even though it is harder to play. I have two Tone Masters and I play the one which has wider sound. The other one is a bit more focused, just like this piece from Phil. Tiny nuances I am talking here. This one did not have "Made with pride" engravings and serials since Phil stopped putting those on newer pieces.

I also at the same time bought a double ring Link, paid some $$$, so I had to let this one go to recover some cash. Sold it on October 5, 2007, to a player in Soeul, South Korea. Good luck!
