Sheet Music Collection - Jamey Aebersold Play-alongs
Jamey Aebersold is highly regarded jazz educator and publisher. His play-alongs have long
been known as an excellent and fun teaching tool. They have become
standard teaching and practicing material for aspiring jazz musicians of all levels. The acompaniment tracks are recorded with
live bands comprised of acomplished musicians which is really felt when practicing. It's just a bit difficult for a beginner, so
I guess we should follow the recommended volumes to begin with.
From his web site "The Jamey Aebersold Jazz Play-A-Longs have revolutionized the way musicians of all levels practice jazz! Often said,
'The Most Widely Used Improvisation Method On The Market!'"
I am listing here books from my collection. I do have DVD with volumes 1-100. Bought it of an ebay - though I do not believe it's
perfectly legal.
