Otto Link Tenney Slant 7* Hard Rubber Tenor Mouthpiece

I bought this mouthpiece on eBay on April 21, 2005. At that time I was under impression of Slant Signature hype, Stan Getz, and I guess I wanted to try Slant Sig mouthpiece without paying the price. There is nothing really to add on top what the seller put in his original add below. Some time later I acquired a real Slant Signature and I could not really point to a difference between them. On the pictures below I put them side-by-side for you to see too.

It plays great with dark, centered, smooth tone. Easy to control top to bottom, response is great. You can whisper into it and you can also push it. Does not get stuffy in the altissimo as most Links do.

Since this one is really a piece I no longer need, I will most likely put it up for sales.

Update: Sold to Dusan Petrovic of Fish in Oil Serbian band. Good luck with it!

Original add

Here it is! This is an exact replica of the infamous Otto Link Slant Signature. Doc Tenney was able to obtain the original mold for these mouthpieces and made new mouthpieces, which he hand refaced. They are available only in 7, and 7*. This being a 7*. Serial number 70. I am not sure how many he made, but here is a chance to get a great one. SAXQUEST is the only seller of these. They retail for $350. My reserve is lower than that, so here is you chance. IF the final price reaches $315.00 I will include a Francois Louis Ultimate Silver Plated Ligature. This was purchased at the same time of the mouthpiec. This mouthpiece plays great, I just am playing more alto and need the money to get my horn fixed. Mouthpiece is in perfect condition, except for the scratches on the top of the body, see picture. These were caused by the ligature, which has a very tight fit. I asked saxquest, and they said this is the right size ligature, just a very tight fit. Please ask any questions. SLANT SIGNATURE OTTO LINK 7*!!!!!!!!!!!!!
